Saturday, August 08, 2009

Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley has issued three citations against a Dorchester painting company intentionally violating state labor laws.

The Democrat alleges that the company violated the Massachusetts prevailing wage law, as well as statutes related to payroll record keeping and wage and hour laws.

American East Painting, Inc. and its president Anthony C. Celestine are being cited for violations related to painting work performed from June 2008 through August 2008 for the Department of Conservation and Recreation at two public skating rinks located in Hyde Park and Brighton.
